datamena, the fastest growing carrier neutral data centre and connectivity platform based in the UAE and serving the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, from Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (EITC), has announced its participation in Capacity Middle East. Capacity Middle East is the annual flagship event for regional and international carriers operating in the Middle East, and the largest carrier event in the region. The event will take place on 6th to 8th March 2018 at the Grand Hyatt in Dubai.

“Capacity Middle East provides a premier platform for datamena to engage and network with customers, partners, and providers as a connectivity and transit hub in the region. The conference enables us to showcase and demonstrate our new and existing service offerings in an industry that is continually evolving,” said Fahad Al Hassawi , Deputy CEO, Telco Services, Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (EITC). “We are proud to offer our support at the conference as it continues to grow in size and influence year after year.”

Now in its 13th year, Capacity Middle East brings together key carriers and service providers from across the region to network, collaborate, and hear from industry leaders about trends and innovations in the telecoms space. This year, the conference is expected to host guests from over 550 companies, representing more than 85 countries worldwide. With an abundance of exhibition booths, meeting rooms, and networking functions available to attendees, the conference agenda covers topics pertaining to every aspect of the industry.

“As an open platform for carriers, content, and cloud providers, as well as enterprises looking to grow their business in the region, Capacity Middle East has become the calendar event of the year for operators, service providers and the major regional communications hubs such as datamena,” added Fahad Al Hassawi.
